Our desire for this site is that it be a fair representation of who we are and what we do as a church.
In the Bible churches are at times referred to as being like the homes we live in and the families we are part of. In our increasingly individualistic and impersonal world our homes are becoming even more important to us. They are places of safety, security, and refuge, where we find a sense of community, love, and acceptance.
For us as a congregation, what people find in their own homes, is what we pray they will discover within our church. That we will be a spiritual home, a safe place, where people feel welcome, loved, supported, and where they find love, strength, and encouragement to become all that God has destined them to be.
With this in mind, as you have taken the time to visit our church website, then please know you would be very welcome to come and join us for worship as a family of God’s people. Whether you live in Stornoway or Lewis and you want to pop by, or whether you come to visit our beautiful island, please be assured a warm welcome awaits you.
